These Titan Chain diamond-pattern chains are great winter weather chains. If you live in an area where you're likely to get periodic snow and ice, these chains are perfect because they're durable and easy to mount. And they're lightweight and compact, so they store in your vehicle nicely too.
These chains are among the easiest and fastest to install because they have built-in tensioners that you can just pull taut to adjust the fit. These tensioners allow the chains to fit your tires, no matter the profile or wear pattern. And because the tensioners are built-in, you never have to worry about losing them like you might with other chains on the market.
SAE Class S tire chains are designed for use on passenger vehicles with restricted wheel-well clearance. Most newer cars, vans, and small trucks - especially those with large aftermarket tires - will require Class S chains. If you're unsure about the class of your vehicle, consult your vehicle's user manual.

If you know your tire size, you may think you won't need to test fit your new chains. But there are a lot of variables that can affect whether chains will fit your specific tires, including your tire type, the amount of air pressure in the tire, the amount of tread wear, and the tire manufacturer. You'll also need to know how much clearance is in your wheel well, which you can determine by measuring from your tire tread to the sidewall of the wheel well.
We recommend that you order chains as early in the season as possible to give yourself plenty of time to test fit the chains and reorder if needed. This way, you won't be stuck out in the cold later with snow chains that don't fit.
You can test fit these chains in your garage or driveway, but you'll want to wait until there's snow on the ground to actually drive with them. Likewise, if you're out in the snow and come across bare pavement, you'll want to pull over and remove the chains. These chains can cause damage to the bare pavement, your garage floor, or your vehicle if they break from the wear of riding on a harsh surface.
Installing these chains is incredibly simple.
1. Lay out the chains on the ground to make sure there are no twists or kinks.
2. Spread the chain around the back of the tire.
3. Connect the ends of the cable, which will sit behind the tire.
4. Around front, connect the 2 ends of the yellow side chain using the green hook at the top of the tire.
5. At the bottom of the tire, feed the silver tensioning chain through the red channel bracket and pull it taut. Then run the tensioner through as many red clips along the side chain as you can, leaving room to still be able to stretch the hook across the tire.
6. Attach the hook to the side chain directly across from the last clip you ran the tensioner through. The hook should face away from your tire. Pull your vehicle forward 2-3 vehicle lengths and recheck the tension.

These are the first chains I have bought for a car. Bought them in preparation for a trip to Canada this winter and to have just in case this winter around Kansas City. I was worried about how difficult chains would be to install on a Dodge Dart but these were super easy to install, 5 min per tire my first time putting them on. They fit tightly and I can’t wait to try them out in the snow. Customer service was also great with my order. They were delivered several days before they were suposed to and sent me a personal email letting me know they were shipped out early. This was a great touch considering most online orders involve no personal contact from the business. I Will definitely purchase from etrailer again because of the service.

I’ve used them a couple times. Easy to install on the side of the road when needed! Still in great shape. I keep them in my vehicle in the winter.
This is my first time to deal with snow chains and these were super easy to install! It took me about 20 seconds each. I feel rieady for snow! Highly recommeded.
These tire chains are very easy to install even without any experience. I practiced onetime putting them on and the directions were easy to follow.
I would give them a 5 star but haven’t needed to use them in the snow yet.
Bought these chains for my Saab 9-5, fit is perfect for my 205-55-16 week/tire size. First time putting them on took me a minute to figure out but is quite easy overall. I live in Vermont with a crappy steep driveway. Generally speaking we only run awd or 4wd cars but this year I ended up having to use my summer beater Saab for the winter. It has good snow tires but the lack of awd made leaving the driveway a struggle. I have the sort of job where I just simply have to get there no matter what. The chains let me claw out onto the road in very snowy, icy conditions where otherwise there wouldn't be a chance in hell this front weel drive car would make it on it's own. Haven't really used them very much so we'll see how they hold up.

After a winter of use: saved me from being stuck in the drive way a number of times. Therefore pretty pleased overall. It’s a huge pain to put them on in the dark and snow but I can’t see how buying a different product would solve this. No substitute for awd or 4wd but they got me through with the beater I had.
Like previous orders from etrailer, received the tire chains I'd ordered rapidly and in great shape. Having been caught in an unexpected snow storm while towing my travel trailer, I decided to buy a set of chains for use just in case we get caught in the snow again. I bought these for one pair of tires on my travel trailer with tire size ST205/75R14. I've installed them in a test fit and all went smoothly. They are really easy to install and get tight. I'm in California and I won't need them here for months, but I'm headed to Alaska where I may encounter snow or ice - they are intended only as a precaution. The product looks well made, fits great and they come in a decent carrying case. I'm very pleased with my purchase.
Snow chains arrived as described, faster than expected. Yet to use them but I'm happy with how they look.
Used these once to cross the Donner Pass. The chains did their job, good traction and safe journey. However, one link on one side of the car broke after about 10 miles and beat the underside of the fender the rest of the way (no way to stop and repair). Had to replace fender protector upon return form my trip.
Excellent chains at an excellent price. After about two winters in my area, I have only used these chains on two occasions, and in both instances I was pleasantly surprised by their ease-of-use and grip.
I strongly recommend practicing putting them on a couple times before the first snow, because the first couple of tries are a bit of a challenge.
I also recommend hitting the chains with a spray lubricant after each exposure to salty roads to ward off any rust.
I'll give this product a good review based on my experience with etrailer. They were reasonably priced and arrived in a timely manner. Customer service is always great with updates about shipping and delivery. However, these are snow chains. I bought them more as a "just in case" item and have yet to use them. Should i use them this winter i will check back in with an updated review.
The tire chains for the trailer fit great, I haven't tested on the road in snow, but they fit perfectly. So far, they appear to be of good quality, and I'm sure they'll do the job in a bad situation and emergency. I will follow up again should the need arise in using them.

I needed chains for three vehicles. I've used these chains in the past and knew they were the ones I wanted. They are easy to put on and provide great traction. I haven't had a chance to use these yet, but I'm extremely satisfied with the shipping and packaging. I ordered them on a Sunday and received the Tuesday. Well after I try to put on the tire chains my opinion may change..off hand though I like what I see....that is why i bought them...the price was average, the delivery was fast, Time will tell, but I certainly have no negative opinions at this point. I may upgrade to excellent after I use them.
I received the snow chains quickly. I have not tried them on yet but they look easy to install. I am happy with the quality of the product. Definitely going to be easier to install than my old chains.
This rating is based on the video I found on your webpage demonstrating the chains being put on an actual Kia Soul like mine Since I just received them yesterday and the ground is now bare, I can't attest to how well they will work while driving in snow and ice. However, it is my hope that they will be easy to put on as demonstrated in the video and will assist me in driving in the snow next time it snows here! :)

After a year, the product is still perfect. No problems with the chains. Still fit neatly in the bag they come in. I would definitely order again.
